What got you biking?

Post  Princess Laughton on Wed Jul 02, 2008 1:36 pm

Hello all

Just wanted to know what got you into the bike scene? What your 1st bike was? What you enjoy about this lifestyle?

I got into bikes many years ago but kids and other things came first. My hubby got into bikes so it got me excited about them again. I dont have a bike so i have never had my first bike but i will one day i will. I love the people i meet as bikers are such great exciting people. Love the rallies and the general freedom.

Please fill in the poll with this post

Love PL

Hello,

Ive been into bikes all my life, grew up with a biker for a pain in the ass brother, so its in my blood. I guess my first bike was a crappy yamaha 125 cant remember what it was, and its not in production anymore. my first proper bike was a kawaski Z1100 a clapped out 1981 model, but love it anyway, despite breaking down pretty much all the time. am after a new on soon, decisions decisions, so many bikes to choose from, there is a load I like but can only have one, unfortunately, not that I'm greedy.

Andy.

I blame it on my brother and his SS50 - it looked so huge to me when I was 11...
My first bike was a CB250 with a car battery bungeed on the back seat, nothing at all on it was legal, ahh, fond memories...
And I'm not sure that the brakes worked Shocked
